Basic Techniques
Setting Up Your Drums
Look at the photo below this set of drums and the names of each part. This photo shows a standard drum kit that consists of five parts. You may add a tom-tom, bass drum, or other cymbals, but with this set of standards you can already play. Note the location of his drums and cymbals, and set your drum set with the same composition.
